If you have already set up an email account and would like to be able to use your home PC email program to send and receive email messages follow these steps. - Open your email program such as Outlook and go to Tools and then Email Accounts...
- Select "Add a new e-mail account" and hit the Next button.
- Select POP3 and then hit the Next button or hit Enter.
- Enter your User Information. Server Information is mail.yourdomain.com for both Incoming and Outgoing mail servers. Logon Information is User Name: example@yourdomain.com Password: samplepassword Make sure that the box is checked to remember password if you don't want to enter it every time.
- Optionally, you can make a folder and create a rule to have your mail placed in that folder or else all of your mail from this new account will end up in your main Inbox in Outlook perhaps mixing with other accounts that you may use.
That is how you set up Outlook to be able to use your new POP3 email account.
