What nameservers should I use?

If you have a new hosting account at Ginkis and you already have a domain name you will have to change the nameservers that your domain name uses.

  1. Log in to your account at the registrar where you purchased the domain name. (If you purchased it at Ginkis then the nameservers are already set to be pointed to the Ginkis servers)
  2. Find a link that says "Nameservers" and click it.
  3. Enter "custom nameservers" ns1.ginkis.com and ns2.ginkis.com
  4. Save these new settings.

Any time that nameservers are changed it takes up to 24 hours to "propagate" around the world.  That means that the switch may take some time before you see any change.
